Benalmádena

sunny 14 °C

My walk today was to Benalmádena, about 45 minute west along the tiled beachfront path just beyond the Ferris wheel.

The walking (& cycling, running, rollerblading) path is partially tiled (unlike in Torremolinos where the whole path is tiled). In Benalmádena, the path also has decorative tile art and there are sections of boardwalk through the sand. And a breakwater creates a safe place for smaller sailboats.

The beach area and marina are very scenic. I can't imagine the value of all these boats.

And the non-beach side :)

I had to cut my walk shorter than planned because, unlike the Torremolinos waterfront, none of the baños are open between October and May (did I mention my 60-yr-old bladder?), so I returned earlier to Torremolinos and took these pics on the way home.
