About 21 hours after leaving home, we arrived in Romania.
This was our first experience flying business class, which we did from Montreal to Frankfurt. Here’s us in our pods, which lay flat for sleeping and the dinner menu.

Shuttledirect was there holding up my name and we quickly arrived at our 1 bedroom Airbnb apt, passing the arc triumf along the way.

And, we were surprised by the tangle of wires just outside our door.
Only miss so far is that we don’t have microwave - I hadn’t noticed the lack in the listing; given we are here for a week, it would have come in handy, but no matter. $20 of groceries for tonight’s dinner, enough for a few breakfasts and also three Leffe beers.
Tonight we will sleep well and tomorrow begin exploring Bucharest.
